OTSEGO SAILING CLUB GUSTS and PUFFS September 2006

Sorry the Gusts and Puffs is a little later than usual or a little earlier than usual depending on how you look at it. Missed the month of August because I was away. Hope you are all well and enjoying time sailing. It’s hard to believe that we are into the month of September. I am still waiting for summer to start!

Racing
First off, congratulations to Jerry Phelan with his participation at the Thistle Nationals in the beginning of August. Jerry and his crew of Karen McShane and Andrew Green raced against 100 boats in Michigan.They experienced a variety of wind conditions and some stiff competition from some of the best sailors in the nation. Congratulations to Jerry and crew!!!
We've had an active racing season at the OSC this year. Plenty of races, lots of racers and fair winds have made for competitive racing and lots of fun. Below you'll find a listing of series results. Disregard previous results postings as I incorrectly scored some of the series. These are the final results. The complete results will be posted in the clubhouse. Congratulations to all racers!
